Mrs. Zigmund Danielewicz, Mrs. Frank Smitke and Mrs. Alfred
Kass of Thorp visited recently with Mr. Kass in the hospital in Chippewa Falls,
and helped him celebrate his 80th birthday.
Miss Diane Panek of Minneapolis, Minn., is spending her
vacation in Thorp with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Panek.
Mrs. Joe Panek and Debbie have returned to Thorp from a week’s
visit with relatives in Chicago, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Koperski of Junction City, Stanley Sawczuk
of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Anna Sawczuk of Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Strojny
and son of Thorp, were among those recently attending the wedding of a niece in
Ottertail, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Larkowski have returned to Chicago, Ill.,
after spending their vacation with relatives and friends in Thorp.
Mr. Larkowski was honored at a surprise birthday party at the Clarence
Novobielski country estate while he was in the area.
Spending their vacation at the Stanley Wargolet home in Thorp
are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wargolet and family of Milwaukee.
Mrs. E. J. Klink and children of Albuquerque, N. M., have been
visiting Mr. Klink’s father, F. G. Neis of Thorp, who is a hospital patient in
Marshfield. The Klink family left last week by car on their return trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jarocki and family of Chicago, Ill., have
been spending their vacation in Thorp with Mr. and Mrs. Felix Mroz.
David Holderman and Brett Flora of Thorp have been spending a
week at Camp Forest Springs, near Westboro.
Gael Anderson of Thorp is acting as junior counselor at Camp
Wabeek.
William Cramer of Williamsburg, Pa., and Gary Stuart of
Detroit, Mich. were recent dinner guests at the Clayton Flora home, in Thorp.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Herman and family of Janesville spent
several days recently visiting at the Clyde Misfeldt home in Thorp.
