Arlyn V. Nett, 57, Loyal, died on May 16, 2012 at Ministry Saint Joseph’s
Hospital, Marshfield Funeral services were held at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, May
19, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield. Rev. Randy VanDeLoo
officiated. Private interment services will be held at a later date. The
Marshfield American Legion Post #54 conducted military honors at the funeral
home immediatelt following the service.
Arlyn V. Nett was born on June 9, 1954, in Fond du Lac, the son of Robert and
Cleora (nee Buechel) Nett. He graduated from New Holstein High School in 1972.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1973-75. On Jan. 8, 1977, he married Lois Libke
at Holt Rosary Catholic Church. He was employed at Roth Manufacturing, where he
currently held the position of warehouse manager. He was an avid outdoorsman and
hunter. He was happiest when he was working outside doing lawn work and
puttering in the shop. He enjoyed being with his family, especially the
grandchildren. He followed the ice racing outings of his son and granddaughter.
Arlyn had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed the many camping outings with
family and friends.
Arlyn is lovingly survived by his wife, Lois Nett, Loyal; four children, Jeremy
(Holly Peterson) Nett, Loyal, Heather (Jamie) Wenzel, Stratford, Nicholas
(Elizabeth Perki) Nett, LaCrosse and Brittany (Jason Staver) Nett, Appleton;
five grandchildrenTaylor Nett, Keston Grambsch, Taya Nett, Halle Nett and Daxtyn
Wenzel; an “adopted” son, Cody Norris; four sisters, Phyllis )Daryl) Dahl, Fond
du Lac, Beverly (Daryl) Rogne, Kiel, Sheila (Ralph) Kiefenheim, Mt. Calvary, and
Vickie (Mike) Hammock, Fond du Lac, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Cleore Nett, and one brother, Clyde
Nett.
