Vetterkind, Jane I. (22 APR 1961)

Miss Jane I. Vetterkind, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer C. Vetterkind, R. 1, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became eh bride of Vernon W. Knecht, son of Mrs. Clara Knecht, Eau Claire, on Saturday, April 22, 1961 at our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Eau Claire. Rev. Herbert F. Juneau performed the two p.m. ceremony.

For her wedding, the bride wore a lilac tweed suit with white accessories and a corsage of white gardenias with little yellow roses.

Mrs. Thomas Nyseth, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, wearing a green tweed suit with green accessories.

Mr. Thomas Nyseth was his brother-in-law’s best man.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

The newlyweds will reside in Eau Claire where the bride is employed at the Sacred Heart Hospital and the groom is employed at the Chippewa Plastics, Inc. at Chippewa Falls.
