Columbia (18 August 1966)

Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Olson and family at Greenwood. Mrs. Olson is the former Frances Abbot, once a resident of this area.

Herman Schultz of Neillsville and his brother, Paul Schultz of Route 1, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ward Lockman one day last week.

Kris and Kurt Aspen, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Aspen of Mount Prospect, Ill., spent Thursday and Friday with William and Georgeana Schulz. The boys, who have now returned to their parental home, were house guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen, in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mallack of Wisconsin Rapids spent some time at their cottage here Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. George Poertner called on them and learned that Mrs. Mallack had just returned from a three week tour in Europe. She especially enjoyed her visits in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Oslo, Norway. Her brother and sister-in-law accompanied her.

Mrs. Frances Sollberger of Neillsville visited Georgeana Schulz and Mr. and Mrs. John Sollberger Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hodgden, Donald and Wendy, Mrs. Charlotte Hodgden, Mr. and Mrs. Niles Schoepke and Mrs. Rosella Chase have returned to Fond du Lac after a vacation of several days in their cottage here.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Moffatt and children of Neenah, and Mrs. Lillian Moffatt of Neillsville, visited Mr. and Mrs. John Sollberger Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Vilas Moffatt of Sheldon, Wash., and Mrs. Lillian Moffatt and Herman Schultz of Neillsville, visited Mr. and Mrs. John Sollberger Wednesday afternoon.
