Greenwood (18 August 1966)

Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kowieski of Auburndale.

Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Kuehni and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bulol of Bellville spent the weekend at the Viv and Eugene Carteron home.

Vance Blaettler and Robert Davis arrived Sunday from San Diego, Calif., to spend three weeks at the Leon Kuester home and Vance’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin, in Loyal.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Liebzeit and daughter, Debbie, spent the weekend in Waupun at the home of their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Liebzeit and family. Sunday the Eldon Liebzeits celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. For the occasion the group was joined by Eldon’s two sisters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cook of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Standiford of Bensenville, Ill. Debbie Liebzeit remained there for a week’s visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Kuehn returned Monday after spending the weekend in Waldo with their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Stephen and son, Norbert. Saturday evening the Kuehns attended the 25th wedding anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tauber in Kiel.

The birthday club was entertained by Mrs. Palmer Vinger Monday evening with a 6:30 dinner at the café, followed by cards at the Vinger home. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mrs. Rose Ludwig, Mrs. Arnold Beyer and Mrs. Catherine Lindner.

Douglas Behrens returned to Milwaukee Saturday after spending a week here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Behrens.

Mrs. Richard Evans and children left Monday for Grand Forks, N. D. They were to return today (Thursday), accompanied by Mr. Evans, who attended college in Grand Forks, for the last eight weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. George Grabara, Jr., spent from Saturday until Tuesday in Milwaukee with relatives. They attended funeral services for her mother, Mrs. Reinold Hukari, there.

Visitors Monday at the Otto Voie home were Mr. and Mrs. Claude Christopherson of Clayton, and Mr. and Mrs. Ludag Perisius of Stanley. Tuesday and Wednesday the Voies entertained Mr. and Mrs. Julian nelson of Garden Grove, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. James Bestul of West Allis.
