Ormond Family Reunion (18 August 1966)

An Ormond family reunion was held Sunday at the Christie Community Hall, with 65 members in attendance.

A potluck meal was served at noon, followed by an organizational meeting. New officers elected were: James M. Vale of Columbus, president; Ted W. Ormond of Stoughton, secretary-treasurer; and William H. Ormond of Orfordville, holdover historian.

Following a discussion on date and place of meeting for next year’s reunion and a report on the progress on research of family history, several pictures were taken.

Those in attendance included: Mr. and Mrs. William Ormond and family of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Fran k Zagar of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Prag and family of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Neil Ormond and family of Kennedy, N. Ormond, Jr., and family of Neillsville; M r. and Mrs. Roy Ormond of Marshfield; Mrs. Christine Ormond and children of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. James Vale of Columbus; William H. Ormond of Orfordville; Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Vale of Cottage Grove; Gladys Mitchell of Watertown; Mr. and Mrs. Roy B.
