Neillsville Locals (18 August

Miss Margaret Beyer of Chicago, Ill., spent a few days last week
with her sister, Mrs. Lila Worchel and son.
Mrs. Emma Hauge of King is
visiting her son, Herbert Kurth, and his wife, and is visiting area friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Johnson, who attended the Holt-Thull wedding Saturday in
Weyerhauser, left from there for Ashland, where they were guests Sunday of the
Rev. Lloyd Mauer and family, former Neillsville residents.
The Good
Neighbors Homemaker club held their annual picnic in Schuster Park one evening
last week.
Mrs. Anna Dooley of Chicago, Ill., was a guest last week of
her mother, Mrs. Ole Larsen. Also visiting there were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer
and daughter of St. Paul, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Marg and family
visited Sunday in Lone Rock with Mr. and Mrs. Nordeen Gilbertson and family.
Judge and Mrs. Lowell D. Schoengarth and family spent the weekend with the
James Barager family of Owen at the Barager cottage on Round Lake.
Miss
Marilyn Radloff left Sunday for Green Bay after spending her vacation with her
mother, Mrs. Virginia Radloff.
Miss Sheri Matheson left last Wednesday by
plane from Marshfield for Washington D.C., where she was met by her great uncle,
Earl Conlin of Woodbridge, VA., with whom she is spending several days.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Svetlik drove to Minneapolis, Minn., Sunday to visit his
sister, Mrs. Edward Kubicki. They were accompanied by his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Blumenthaler.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Svetlik and four sons of
New Holstein visited Friday at the Frank and Tony Svetlik and Henry E. Rahn
homes. They also visited her father, James Milton.
Mrs. George Bramble
of Janesville spent several days last week with her sister, Mrs. Harland
Kintzele, and brothers, Bill and David Gallagher.
