Eberhardt, Martha (27 March 1885 - 21 August 1966)
Mrs. Martha Eberhardt, 81, of Rt. 3, Neillsville, died here Monday. Funeral
services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Zion American Lutheran Church
in the Town of Pine Valley. The Rev. Evan Dieck of Granton will officiate.
Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Eberhardt was
born March 27, 1885, in West Bend, where she received her education. At the age
of 13 she went to Milwaukee, where she worked until her marriage in Edgar on
September 19, 1907, to the late Richard Eberhardt. They lived in Port Washington
for four years, and in 1911 moved onto the present Eberhardt farm in the Town of
Pine Valley. Mr. Eberhardt died in 1934.
She is survived by six children:
Herbert and Gerald of Neillsville, Roland of Eugene, Ore., Alvin of Milwaukee,
Mrs. Hans (Renata) Kalsow of Neillsville and Mrs. M. J. (Elsie) Hanson of South
Gate, Cal. Other survivors are: two sisters, Mrs. Conrad Hamann of Manitowoc and
Mrs. Martin Wunrow of Marshfield; and by three brothers, Richard Callion of
Milwaukee, Fred Callion of Menomonee Falls and Rudolph Callion of Blue Sky,
Alberta, Canada; and by 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
