Helwig, Elizabeth (? – 22 August 1966)

Funeral services were held last Thursday morning from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville, for Mrs. Elizabeth Helwig, 63, of Neillsville, who died August 22 following an illness of several months. The Rev. George Nelson officiated and burial was made in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, in Madison.

Pallbearers were: William Davis, John Bergemann, Leo Wasserburger, Leo Foster, John Schiesel and Arnold Gustman.

People from out of town here for the funeral included: Mrs. Grace C. Smith and Thomas C. Smith of Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. James Knox of Ft.
