John Lastofka made a trip to Granton Monday with a calf.

Miss Gladys Parrett is spending this week with her sister Mrs. Clarence Bardell at Heintown.

Last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Edward Diercks and daughter Bertha paid a visit to their farm, which they purchase some time ago, near York Center.

Mrs. Mary and Jennie Fulwiler visited with Mrs. Ida Pease last Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bardell visited with the latter’s mother last Sunday.

Dan Timerson made a hurried trip to Granton Saturday.

Otto Grosnick and Parker Metcalf made a trip to Neillsville last Tuesday.

Will O’Brien has established a milk route and is making daily trips to the condensary at Neillsville.

Our school has a vacation this week and the teacher, Miss Goldie Anderson, is spending it with her parents at Owen.

Well, our roads are rapidly changing from snow banks into mud holes.

Last Friday was Grace Lastofka’s 10th birthday, so Bertha Diercks came and helped her celebrate it so the girls had a nice time together.

Ernest Rowe and family spent Saturday evening with the Fulwiler family and eating ice cream was the sport of the evening.

Mrs. Margaret Parrett spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. John Dwyer of Neillsville.

Mesdames Martin and Wm. O’Brien spent Sunday afternoon with the John Krejci family.

Dale Fulwiler, who is employed in the Soo freight house at Marshfield, spent Saturday and Sunday here with his parents and sister.

Frank Lueck had his buzz saw going at Frank Greeler’s place last Thursday.

Dan Timerson was a visitor to Marshfield last Saturday.

The roads are drying up quite rapidly, which is encouraging for the milk teams that are making daily trips to the condensary at Neillsville.

Clarence Fabian and family were callers at Granton last Monday.

John Lastofka made a trip to Neillsville Wednesday after some pulp plaster.

Mrs. Wm. Rowe and Mrs. Forest Rowe and daughter Merle spent last Tuesday with Mrs. Ida Pease.

A few more days like we are having now and the farmers can begin operations on the land.
