The W.W. Club met with Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hayden Thursday
evening of last week. The evening was spent in a social way, playing carom and
eating a fine supper.
The Misses Jean and Sarah Davis and their guests
Miss Cleo Daughhetee of Colby spent Thursday evening at M. Dorst’s.
The
sale at A.W Hales’ Saturday afternoon was well attended and all the cows brought
a big price.
Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hales, the Misses Ella hales, Alta
Wright, Allie Root, Nell Dorst and Messrs. Arnold Kelpin and Leonard Dorst
attended the shower at J. Eysnogle’s Thursday evening.
Katie Wright spent
Saturday night with Elsie Dorst, while her sister Alta spent the same night with
Sara and Jean Davis.
Mrs. Chas. Cross and children are visiting her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hayden since Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Orren
Montgomery entertained the following at a sugar party Sunday evening: Mr. and
Mrs. A.W. Phipps and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tyler and sons and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hayden and Glyde, and Arleigh Graves.
Mr. and Mrs.
W.J. Davis and daughter Ursula spent Monday at E. D. Prangel’s.
Arthur
Lautenbach and sister Lisetta spent Sunday evening at Miss Dorst’s.
The
Misses Jean and Sara Davis spent Tuesday with Miss Allie Root.
Mrs. L.A.
Schneider’s father who is visiting her, was very ill Saturday and Sunday, but is
reported some better at this writing.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wells and Mr. and
Mrs. M. Dorst and family were treated to warm sugar at Orren Montgomery’s
Tuesday evening.
Lela Davis spent Sunday with Mabel Dorst. Mabel
accompanied her home and visited the Granton School with her on Monday.
Fred Wright and W.J. Davis attended the Beeby auction Tuesday.

Miss
Jean Davis and her sister Sara spent Wednesday at Neillsville, visiting friends
at the high school there.
Miss Nell Dorst spent Monday and Tuesday
visiting friends south of Granton.
