A.B. Marsh of Neillsville has purchased
the former Andrew Ballard farm.
W.B. Thomas, Emil Poppe and G. Mallig and
their wives, also the Linus Prock and Chas. White families visited Sunday at
Aug. Dudei’s.
In the town of Seif, Lewis Glasow was elected clerk in Gus
Grap’s place.; John Seif was elected chairman; Dave Boyer, treasurer; for
supervisors, Geo. Halbrader was re-elected and Carl Christopherson was taken in
John Dudei’s place.
School started in the Weston brick schoolhouse
Monday, also in the Seif District.
Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Worchel,
newlyweds, returned Saturday from their wedding trip.
Arthur Thomas, John
Poppe, Walter and Paul Grap spent Sunday evening at Albert Hemp’s.
Mrs.
Otto Schoeffler and Mrs. Schultz returned to their homes at Cuter, Mich. on
Tuesday.
The Weston town board is as follows: John Mund, Chairman; Wm.
Ormond, Clerk; W.J. Armitage, treasurer, and Wm. Mitte and F.J. Zickert,
supervisors.
D.R. Rosenberg and family of Pine Valley visited Easter
Monday at Paul Hagedorn’s.
Grandma Hagedorn, while on a visit Sunday at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Klueckman, fell and injured her hip badly.
Mrs. D.H. Wallace arrived Friday from Alma Center to join her husband, who
has charge of the creamery here.
