Hoffman, Beatrice (3 JUN 1961)

The Rev. Wilfred W. Fries officiated at the marriage ceremony for the wedding of Miss Beatrice Hoffman and Lawrence Jarocki Saturday, June 3, 1961, at 10:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Stetsonville.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hoffman of route 1, Medford, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jarocki of Abbotsford are the parents of the bridal couple. Mr. Hoffman presented his daughter in marriage as organist Helen Westemeier provided the music.

Chosen by the bride for her wedding was a white dress with panels of embroidered orchids on nylon over taffeta with three-quarter length sleeves, a scoop neckline and chapel train. Her fingertip veil fell from a pill box hat of lace, pearls and sequins. She carried a lace covered prayer book with orchids.

Matron of honor in the wedding party was Mrs. Paul D. Bach Jr. of Medford. Bridesmaids were Miss Judy Hryniewicki of Chippewa Falls and Misses Connie and Sharon Ruesch of Medford.

Mrs. Bach donned a mint green dress of chiffon over taffeta with cap sleeves and a round neckline with chiffon drape complemented by a wrist corsage of carnations. The bridesmaids’ dresses were of the same styling in lilac color.

Flower girls were Susan and Rita Hoffman.

The groom’s attendants were Charles Hoffman of Dorchester as best and, and groomsmen were Arthur Jarocki of Abbotsford and Dick and Tom Heiek of Medford. Ushers were Ed Hryniewicki and Alfred Heier.

Wedding day events were a dinner and reception held in the church basement and dance in the evening at the C.O.F. Hall.

The bride is a graduate of Medford High School and the groom graduated from the Abbotsford High School. He is employed at Kramer’s I.G.A. Store in Abbotsford, where they will make their home after a wedding trip to Canada.
