Greening, Doris L. (17 JUN 1961)
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Thorp was the setting for the wedding of Miss
Doris Lee Greening of Eau Claire and W. Robert Berzinski of Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.), who were married Saturday, June 17, 1961 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Robert
Olson officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are
Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Artac, Willard, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Berzinski of Thorp.
Mr. Artac gave the bride in marriage before an altar decorated with bouquets of
mixed flowers.
For her wedding the bride wore an exquisite ballerina gown
of silk organza. A scalloped Sabrina neckline with three-quarter length sleeves
accented the fitted Basque which was highlighted by embroidery. The bouffant
embroidered skirt was fashioned with redingote effect in front and the back was
accented by a bow.
Mrs. Freda Adams, sister of the bride, was matron of
honor. She wore a Nile green silk organza street length dress with matching
petal hat and blush veil.
Donald Adams was best man for the groom.
A wedding supper was held at the home of the bride’s parents, followed by a
reception at the Ed Budolfson residence, R. 3, Thorp.
