JOHN FRANK, TOWN OF BRIGHTON, DIES MONDAY
John Frank, a well
known resident of the town of Brighton, passed away at the family home Monday
noon, following an illness caused by a complication of ailments. He was 60 years
of age. The body was taken to the Co-Op Funeral Home in Marshfield and was taken
to the home this Thursday morning. Funeral services will be conducted at the
Frank home Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock and 2 o’clock at the North church,
the Rev. H. C. Hinz, officiating. Interment will take place in the church
cemetery.
The deceased was born in Bruitz, Germany, April 21, 1860, and
came to America when he was 12 years old. He lived in Dodge county for five
years and then came to the town of Brighton, where he had lived since. His
marriage to Miss Amelia Schumann took place in Brighton Sept. 7, 1889. His wife
preceded him in death.
Surviving are 12 children, Mrs. Frank Bruss of
Spencer; Gus of Spencer; Ernest of Mayville; Edwin of Spencer; Mrs. Louis
Borseck of Menasha; Willie, Mrs. Otto Roll and John, all of Mayville; Alvin at
home; Mrs. Arthur Hass of Marshfield; Elmer of Menasha and Oscar at home. There
also are 13 children.
