ELEANOR KOEPKE WED TO MR.
ARTHUR SCHRAEDER
Friday, March 6, was chosen by Miss Eleanor Koepke,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Koepke, to become the bride of Arthur
Schraeder, son of Rudolph Schraeder, Auburndale. The young couple exchanged vows
before Judge O. W. Schoengarth at Neillsville at 3:30 p.m. The bride was
attended by Mrs. Roy Schraeder as matron of honor. The groom was attended by his
brother, Roy Schraeder, as groomsman.
The bride was attired in a blue
costume suit with headband to match and a headband of blue roses. She wore a
shoulder bouquet of mixed carnations and ferns. The matron of honor was attired
in a dusty rose dress with headband to match, black accessories and a shoulder
bouquet of pink and white lilies. The men wore dark suits with boutonnieres of
white carnations.
A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s
parents to about 30 relatives and friends. The home was tastefully decorated
with pink and blue streamers and a large wedding cake formed a centerpiece for
the table. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Koepke of Ogema; Rudolph
Schraeder of Auburndale, John Schraeder of Marshfield; Henry Schraeder of
Richfield; Elmer Schraeder of Auburndale and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schraeder and
family of Neillsville. A shower and wedding dance was given in the Municipal
hall at Spencer in the evening.
