TOWN OF UNITY
Lee
Schofield and John Neumann, who are employed in Marshfield, had the car badly
damaged one morning last week. Due to a fog and poor lights their car was struck
by a switching train and damaged quite abit, but no one was injured.
Billie Beisner entertained the 4-H club members Sunday afternoon, and a few
others in honor of his birthday anniversary. Games were played, prizes given and
lunch served. It goes without saying they enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon.
The little twins, Janice and Janet, of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Seefeld, are ill
and under the doctor’s care.
Mr. and Mrs. Verland Goetz and Miss Evalyn
Meacham, all of Marshfield, spent the weekend at their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed.
Meacham.
Mrs. Alfred Hendrickson, who has been very sick with the flue,
and under the care of Dr. Hubble, is out again.
