WEST SPENCER

Arlene and Dale Seefeld are ill with the mumps.
Audrey Pickett will teach the Sunnyside school and Virgean Freeman the
Pleasant Ridge school the coming year.
Ione and Audrey Pickett boarded in
their districts the past week due to bad roads.
Mr. and Mrs. John Cross
and Roger attended the show at Spencer Sunday evening. They were Monday supper
guests at the Earl Pickett home.
Aug. Kreutz was a caller at the J. E.
Cross home Wednesday. He reported he had lost a valuable cow Sunday.
Earl
Pickett attended the Alfred Vanderhoof auction on Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs.
John Cross and Roger were Saturday evening visitors at Marshfield and also
called at the Wm. Luepke home.
Miss Haach will take four grades to the
grain judging contest at Greenwood Tuesday.
