Beatrice M. Lesczynski, age 94,
of Abbotsford, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s
Hospital, Marshfield.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012,
at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford from 4 to 8 PM with a prayer
service at 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 5,
2012, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford at 10:30 AM, with a
visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church.
Beatrice
was born June 14, 1917, to Joseph and Gladys (Dygart) Brickheymer in Edson, WI.
She is a graduate of Athens High School. Beatrice was joined in marriage to
Bernard Lesczynski on November 14, 1942, in Athens. Beatrice and Joseph owned
and operated a farm outside of Athens until 1970. Upon retirement they moved to
Abbotsford.
Beatrice was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and
was a member of the Ladies Circle at St. Bernard’s. She enjoyed knitting, towel
painting, tending to her flower gardens, watching birds, and preserving pickles
and jellies.
She is survived by her son, Ervin Lesczynski of Fond du Lac,
WI, her daughter, Rita Lesczynski of Sperry, IA, her daughter-in-law, Bettie
Lesczynski of San Antonio, TX, her grandchildren: Erin (Peter) Church, Kevin
Lesczynski, and Megan Lesczynski; and a great granddaughter, Mariam Church.
Beatrice is further survived by her brother, Donald Brickheymer of Hermosa,
SD, and her sisters: Mabel Schreindl of Marshfield, Delores Placek of Knoxville,
TN, Arlene Harrigan of Hartford, CT, Joan Mader of Athens, Helen Schillinger of
Wausau, and Geraldine Eder of Wausau.
Beatrice is preceded in death by
her parents, her husband, Bernard, her son, David Lesczynkski, her brothers,
Harry Brickheymer and Robert Brickheymer, and her sister, Margaret Revling.
Beatrice’s family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff of
Continental Manor.
The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the
Lesczynski family with arrangements.
