Mrs. Ketelle of Lindsey, who was taken to Rochester, Minn. for treatment a short time ago, died there and was brought to Lindsey last week for burial.

Wm. Peters will have a new barn raising Thursday of this week. John Tuchscher and crew are laying out the timbers now and are about done with the work.

A.W. Wendorf has his house and garage moved onto his new lot. Albert says that he is still turned around completely. What used to be south is north now and he will stick to it, because every time that he gets himself up in the morning, he must locate himself or he would start for the woods instead of going to the depot.

Ray Ure and family are living upstairs in Hogenson’s building now, having moved last week.

The wreck on the Omaha near Sidney delayed the trains and mail some on Monday. It also delayed shipping stock another week.

Our lumber yard is doing business in pretty fair shape and will don more as the stock increases in size and variety.

Farming will commence soon now that the weather got warmer and night frosts ceased.

Don’t fail to plant and seed every foot of ground that you possibly can this year. It will be needed and everything will bring a good price without doubt.
