Chas. Fenske, with a crew of
seven men, was re-shingling his bar Tuesday.
Same Greene is going to
build a new barn. Alvin Voelker, with two others, is laying out the timer now.
Joe Hutt was taken so ill Sunday that it was necessary to call Dr. Housley.
He pronounced it pneumonia. It is hoped it will be broken up.
Misses Lolo
and Glendola Snow visited at John Davis’ sugar bush last Thursday.
Mrs.
Emma Oatman visited at Mrs. Phil Travien last Sunday.
One day last week
Paul Beil started for the factory when his team started to run away. Mrs. A.
Beil, who was riding with him, was thrown out with 8 dozen eggs. The horse ran
down to Chas. Fenske’s where he stopped them.
Mrs. Jason Phillips left
Tuesday to visit Mrs. Mel Blake.
Fred Hill and family visited at John
Davis’ Sunday.
Russell Greene and wife visited at Morris Dickerson’s.
Lucille Dow is home from Marshfield where she has been for a few weeks.
Billie Behling sawed wood for Fred Hill Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mrs.
Kretschmer came out from Marshfield to visit her mother Mrs. Small last week
Saturday.
Last Friday Mrs. Grobe and Mary, Mrs. Will Bealer, Mrs. Will
Grego, and Bessie Davis visited Marshfield Hospital to see Mrs. Hoffman and Mrs.
Blakeley.
