Well, another of our old neighbors is to leave. Mr. Hunter and family will
leave here for Washington next week. He has the sale Thursday of this week.
Ross Galbreath is the possessor of a new player piano.
Dan Palmer
will work his father-in-law’s farm this season, although they will continue
living on the farm.
George Cramer and wife visited at Mr. Sherrett’s last
Sunday.
We have seen two autoes on our streets this spring.
The
children of this vicinity are having whooping cough we think.
The
spelling and arithmetic contest was held in our school Friday p.m. and winners
were as follows: Gladys Waterman, first in both; Myrtle Battersby second, and
David Bender third in spelling; and Myrtle Battersby third in arithmetic.
