Carolyn Joy Koci was born on
May 28, 1938 in Phillips, WI, the daughter of Frank Jr. and Julia (Kroupa) Koci.
She attended elementary school in the Phillips and Loyal, WI areas, and
graduated from Greenwood High School in 1956. Carolyn then attended Mount Mary
College in Milwaukee, for 2 years.
She was united in marriage to Francis
Kohlnhofer on June 7, 1958 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. They
farmed 3 miles north of Greenwood and Carolyn worked as a C.N.A. doing home care
in Greenwood. She later worked at Figi's, in Marshfield, until 1992, and then at

She had many
interests, but especially loved spending time with and attending her
grandchildren's events, stamping, making cards, the casino, traveling and
visiting with her many wonderful friends.
Carolyn was a member of St.
Mary's Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Society, the Red Hat Society, the Clark
County Homemakers, and was a former member of the Clark County Choraliers.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Francis, of Greenwood; three
children: Gary (Carol) of New Berlin; Renee (Dan) Slowiak of Thorp; Scott of
Greenwood; three grandchildren: Brandon and Dustin Slowiak, and Laura
Kohlnhofer; and two brothers: Robert Koci and James Koci, both of Sun City, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frankie.

for a fund to be set up at a later date.
