CORNERS

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Buetsch and family
of Twin Lakes are spending a few days with friends and relatives in Brighton.
Eugene Carey and Charles Blackman of Wausau arrived at Spencer to seek
employment on farms for the summer. Eugene will work for Fred Korth and Charles
is employed by Paul Sersch.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Korth and family visited
with relatives in Wausau Sunday. They were accompanied home by Ermine Cramer,
Kathryn Phillips and Virginia Korth, who arrived in Wausau from Madison, after
spending four days at the state 4-H camp there.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hoff
and family of Mannville visited at the Paul Sersch home Friday evening.
Mrs. George Schwantes sr., and sons, Karl and Billy, and daughter, Carolyn, left
Friday morning [text missing from copy] who is employed near Madison. They will
make their home there for the present.
Herman Schwantes, who has been
living with his son, Geo. had gone to live with his daughter and soninlaw, Mr.
and Mrs. Leonard Nickel of Unity.
Mr. and Mrs. Myron Foth and family were
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Foth Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wiesman
and family of Stratford visited at the Leonard Cramer home Sunday.
