East Washburn (15 OCT 1914)
Several neighbors hauled Pete Kauth’s household goods to Neillsville
Thursday to be shipped to Lake Mills. Mr. Kauth departed the same day for their
new home while the family remained for a visit among friends.
David Smith
returned home Wednesday after a two weeks visit in southern Wisconsin and
Indiana. He was accompanied by his nephew, David Keys, who will visit the David
Smith and Logan Bender homes.
August Nickel and family spent Sunday at
Will Ottow’s.
J. P. Johnson and family spent Sunday at John Johnson’s.
Frank Bender and family returned Friday to their home near Richland Center
after a few days visit at Logan Bender’s.
Miss Ada Hunter spent last week
in Granton with her sister, Mrs. Frank Ferguson.
John Bender and wife of
Viola are spending a few days at the George Cramer home.
Christian Fuetz
and family are returning home Friday after visiting at Gotham and other places.
John Harn and wife of Richland Center, Will Fowell and wife of Sylvan
returned home Monday after a visit with Logan Bender and family.
Miss
Hazel Cramer spent Saturday and Sunday at home.
Mrs. Peterson of Superior
spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Otto Schroeder.
Sam Ferguson delivered
hogs at Granton Monday.
