DURAND REAS IS
MARRIED AT EAU CLAIRE SUNDAY
Durand Reas was married Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
in the First Lutheran church in Eau Claire. A reception and luncheon was given
the bride and groom in the church parlors after the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Reas
came to Spencer Sunday evening to visit Monday with his aunts, Mesdames Bert
Young, Herman Metzger and Ora Schaefer. They returned to Eau Claire Monday and
left Tuesday for Norfolk, Va., where he has been stationed since last October.
Durand is the son of Guy Reas of Park Falls, and is well known in Spencer,
having visited his grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Bert Reas, many times.
His rank in the Navy is that of 2nd yeoman and is secretary to the commander.
Best wishes go with them.
