Oscar Mellenthin Is Married June 27
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mellenthin Takes Miss Delores Krueger of Beaver Dam as His Bride.

Zion Lutheran church of Beaver Dam was the setting for the wedding of Miss Delores Krueger of that city and Oscar Mellenthin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mellenthin of Unity. The candlelight ceremony took place Saturday afternoon, June 27, before an altar adorned with huge baskets of gladioli. The bride wore white silk marquisette with a long veil and carried white gardenias and purple orchids. The maid of honor, Miss Georgine Krueger, was dressed in blue silk net ornamented with lace insets. The bridesmaids, Shirley Mellenthin and Arlent Krueger, wore similar gowns of blue and pink net. All wore shoulder length veils and carried carnations. The bridegroom’s attendants included Gordon Mellenthin of Unity and Eugene Zeppi of Beaver Dam, Ushers were Corp. Raymond Mellenthin of Chicopee, Mass. And Prvt. Delmar Zuelke of Maryland.

A reception at the home of the bride’s mother followed the ceremony. In the evening a wedding dance was held. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mellenthin and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Luepke and daughter of Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harger of Arpin; Miss Marian Frome of Colby; Corporal Ray Mellenthin of Massachussetts; Pvt. Delmar Zuelke of Maryland and Miss Eldeen Zuelke of Madison were among the guests attending the wedding.
