Fred Schwantes Dies Tuesday, Aug. 25

Fred Schwantes, 76 died on Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Toltzman in the town of Unity, where he had made his home for the past few weeks. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the residence in the village and at 2 o’clock at the Trinity Lutheran church, the Rev. A. C. Stapel officiating. The body will lie in state at the Central Wisconsin Cooperative funeral home until about 9 o’clock Friday morning when it will be moved to the home in Spencer. Burial will be made in the family lot in the North Spencer cemetery.
