Mrs.
O. Weyhmiller Dies at Loyal Oct. 1
Wife of Clark County Highway Commissioner;
Had Been a Partial Invalid for 18 Years; Funeral Services at Loyal.
Mrs.
Otto J. Weyhmiller, 54 years of age, wife of the Clark county highway
commissioner, passed away at her home in Loyal last Thursday evening at 6:30
o’clock of pneumonia. A partial invalid for 18 years, Mrs. Weyhmiller had been
confined to her bed for the past two years.
Mrs. Weyhmiller, nee Mabel
Anderson, was born at Hartford on Sept. 23, 1888, and came to Clark county with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson, as a child. She received her
education in the grade schools of Hartford, Loyal and Unity, and graduated from
the Loyal high school in 1906, teaching school in the town of Beaver for several
years thereafter. Her marriage to Otto J. Weyhmiller took place at Loyal on
March 25, 1914. They made their home there continuously from that time on, and
had lived in their present home for the past 23 years. Mrs. Weyhmiller was a
member of the Royal Neighbors and of the Methodist church. She is survived by
her husband, two sons, Kenneth in the Coast Guard at San Pedro, Calif. and
Maurice at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, Ill.; a daughter Harriet, at home
and her father, George Anderson of Loyal. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Esther
Dwyer of Kila, Mont.; two brothers, Ray Anderson of Rockford, Ill. and Verne
Anderson of Eau Claire.
