Miss
Rose Marie Dormady, 1006 Grand Ave. Neillsville, became the bride of David Allan
Klatt, Rt. 1 Alma Center, Saturday afternoon, October 15, at the Grace Lutheran
Church in Alma Center, with the Rev. Merlin Sassman performing the ceremony. The
bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dannie Dormady, Rt. 1 Humbird.
The
bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin gown featuring a scoop
neckline and bell skirt. The long sleeves, which came to a point at the wrist,
were accented by button loop closures.
Miss Karen Dormady, Chicago,
attended her sister as maid of honor, and Mrs. Bruce Klatt, Alma Center, and
Mrs. Bonnie Miltie, bridesmaids, wore floor length gowns of viva, accented in
the back by a train. Each carried bouquets of mums and carnations with matching
ribbons.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Klatt, Rt. 1, Alma
Center, was attended by Arnold Strangfeld, Kenosha, bestman, and Bruce Klatt,
brother of the groom, and Bill Miltie, Neillsville, groomsmen. Jerry Klatt and
Billy Dormady were the ushers.
The congregation, accompanied by Mrs.
Merlin Sassman, sang, “The Lord’s Prayer.”
A reception was held in the
church parlors, and a dance was held at the Silver Dome near Neillsville. Mr.
and Mrs. Klatt will be at home at Rt. 1 Alma Center.
