Johnson, Pauline (29 March 1888 - 10 October 1966)

Mrs. John S. (Pauline) Johnson, 78, died October 10, in an Ellsworth nursing home, where she had been a patient for the past five years.

She was born in Chippewa County March 29, 1888. She and her husband resided in Merrillan in the 1930’s while Mr. Johnson was a telegraph operator at the Merrillan depot. Her husband preceded her in death in 1940.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Juanita) Johnson of Black River Falls; two sons, Robert L. of Kansas City, and Bert of Minneapolis; a brother, Jack Johnson of Chippewa Falls; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held October 12 in Black River Falls. The Rev. W. Hagmann officiated and interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Black River Falls.
