BRIGHTON CORNERS

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cramer and
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Cramer attended the funeral of a relative in southern
Wisconsin last Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Schwantes and Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Korth accompanied by members of the Brighton Busy Bees 4-H club attended
the achievement day exercises at Wausau Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale
Driscoll, leaders of the Kerwin 4-H club, took members of their club to Wausau
Saturday.
Miss Caroline Schwantes visited with Marilyn Korth Sunday
afternoon.
The Brighton school enjoyed a Halloween party Friday
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. John Schwantes of Janesville visited relatives
here the early part of last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schwantes visited
at the John Schwantes home in Janesville over the week-end. John will leave for
Army duty this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wallner and daughter of Marshfield
and Wilmer Bruesewitz and Willard Bruss of Milwaukee were visitors at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Cramer Sunday.

The members
of the Brighton Busy Bees 4-H club entertained their parents at an achievement
party at the Ernest Korth home Friday evening. Contest games were played, after
which a delicious lunch was served. All enjoyed a good time.
Miss Anita
Korth of Stevens Point spent Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Korth.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Krause visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Clifford Weisman at Stratford Thursday evening. Mrs. John Witt, Mrs. Ernest
Korth and Lillian Krause accompanied them to Stratford to attend a teachers
meeting there.
Wm. Neumann took his son, Henry, to Madison Thursday where
an x-ray was taken of his leg. He will report at Madison later again to check on
the progress made.
