Frank Davis was at Chili Saturday.
W.J. Gerlach
arrived here Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zorn are enjoying a visit from
a Mrs. Krake of Birnamwood, who came Saturday.
Mrs. Wm. Wallace of
Augusta after a couple of days visit her at Chas. Lowery’s went to Curtiss
Saturday for an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Stigleman.
Mrs. Wm. White, with the Misses Ella and Susie Pollnow, all of Neillsville,
spent Saturday afternoon here with town friends and engaged with hopping.
Irl Page, who came back from Livingston, Mont., two weeks since spent the
first of the week here with relatives, and old friends. He expects to return to
Montana early in May.
Miss Louise Sauter of Sheboygan who is making an
extended visit to her nice Mrs. Herman Gluch on R. 3 still carries her left arm
in a sling, the result of a broken bone suffered in a fall several weeks since.
Earl Marsh came down from Duluth Sunday for a short visit with home folk. He
expects to leave again the latter part of this week to join his military Co.
which will receive a call for duty yet this week.
Ed Soles has been
considerably under the weather again for several weeks past and his mother is
down from Spencer since a week ago Monday visiting him and helping him to mend
more rapidly.
Mrs. Chas. Sherrett, with Mrs. Aug. Arndt and the latter’s
two little daughters, were over from Neillsville and spent Saturday
