Bernice and Vera Wright and Mabel Dorst spent
Sunday afternoon with Cleo Rowe.
Twenty-three of Arleigh Grave’s young
friends helped him celebrate his 14th birthday Tuesday evening.
Mr. and
Mrs. L.A. Schneider spent Saturday evening at A.W. Phipps.
Echo Winn gave
a party to her girlfriends in honor of her 14th birthday anniversary Saturday
afternoon.
P.A. Gardner moved his family here from Loyal last week. They
are residing in Mrs. S. winn’s house.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hatch and
children were Sunday visitors at the Fred Wright home.
Mrs. H.J.
Pietenpol spent several days of last week with her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Berg.
Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Phipps went to Neillsville Monday and when they came home
Arthur was minus his teeth, he having them all extracted while there.
Bernice Wright spent Tuesday night at the John Davis home.
The W.W. Club
held their last evening meeting for the season at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orin
Montgomery Thursday. All members were present in spite of the rain and mud.
Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Phipps spent Friday with their son and family.
A
surprise party was planned to celebrate Elsie Dorst’s 16th birthday Friday
evening, but the rain prevented it, and it was postponed until Saturday evening.
23 of her young friends were present.
Mr. and Mrs. W.J. McClaflin and 3
daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Orin Montgomery and daughter Lela and a baby Allen, Mr.
and Mrs. A.W. Phipps and 2 daughters, and Mr. Gurney Sweet spent Sunday with
George Phipps and family near York Center.
Katie and Hope Wright, Echo
and Myrtle Winn, Lucille and Lila Dorst, Mermel Wonser and Elsie Dorst spent
Sunday afternoon with Marjorie and Josephine Pietenpol.
Leonard Dorst
went to Neillsville on business, Friday.
Fred Wright shipped a fine
Holstein calf to parties at Baldwin on Monday.
Merton Davis and Louis
Root were pleasant callers at Fred Wright’s last week.
