Jaje, Henry J. (12

Funeral services were conducted Friday
forenoon from the Georgas Funeral Home in Neillsville for Henry J. “Steve” Jaje,
56, of Milwaukee, who died November 1, in Milwaukee County Hospital. The Rev.
George M. Nelson of St. Mary’s Catholic Church officiated. Burial was made in
the Columbia Cemetery.
Mr. Jaje was born May 12, 1909, in Manistee,
Mich. As a young man he came to Wisconsin, locating in Taylor County before
coming to the Neillsville area, where he located on a farm in the Town of
Dewhurst. In the last few years he had been employed by a manufacturing plant in
Milwaukee. Since September of this year he had been in failing health.
On
July 11, 1952, he was married to the former Beulah Iverson in Neillsville. He is
survived by his wife; and five children, Michael Jaje of Milwaukee, Mrs. H.
(Janett) Schoen of Chugwater, Wyo., Mrs. Sam (Judith) Fugarino of Milwaukee,
John Wildish and Charles Matthews, both of Milwaukee; and by his mother, Mrs.
Pauline Jaje of Milwaukee. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Daniel
(Stella) Harry of Buffalo, N. Y., Mrs. Stephen (Jenni) Zyuizyski of Lockport, N.
Y., Mrs. Marion Mazzarelli of Buffalo, N. Y.; by five brothers, Joe of
Milwaukee, Water of Shawano, Thomas of Kaukauna, Rudolph of Pickrel and Tony of
Buffalo, N. Y.; and by seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Sam
Fugarino, John Apfel, Joe Pasek, Richard J. Jaje, John Wildish and Charles
Matthews.
People from out of town here for the service were: Mrs. Beulah
Jaje, Michael Jaje, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fugarino and family, Charles Matthews, Mr.
and Mrs. John Wildish, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Morvak, Joe Jaje and Richard Jaje,
all of Milwaukee; Mrs. Harold Ellickson of Pigeon Falls; Charles Marek and Joe
Pasek of Merrillan; Connie Lowe of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Stan Novak of
Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Joe W. Vinsik of McHenry, Ill.; Thomas Jaje and
Margaret Gengler of Kaukauna; Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Jaje of Pickrel.
