Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stafford visited
in Neenah Saturday and Sunday at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Kenny Stafford.
Mrs. Olga Reineking and Mrs. Orlin Fravert and
children, Margaret, Mark and Marilyn, were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Dale Vollrath in Green Bay.
Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen and Albert
Fravert were Sunday dinner guests at the Kermit Bell home in Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Edmund O’Konski and family returned to Waukegan, Ill., after
spending the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Alma Busch, and other relatives here
and at Owen. Other weekend guests at the Busch home were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald
Goeke and family of Pewaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Heinz of Milwaukee
visited at the home of Mrs. John Zepaltas recently.
Mrs. Leona Garske of
Wausau and Ernest Schoettler of Loyal visited Friday at the Erwin Toburen home.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Klapatauskas and family of Withee were dinner guests
Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elery Moberg.
Mr. and
Mrs. Roger Liebzeit visited relatives in Milwaukee over the weekend.
The
Adult Fellowship will meet in Immanuel United Church Sunday evening. Hosts will
be Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Albert, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Henaman and Mr. and Mrs. Clayton
Braun.
The Forest Queen Royal Neighbor Camp will meet Monday evening in
the Legion Hall. Mrs. O. J. Amundson and Mrs. Louis Behrens will be hostesses.
The Jolly Homemakers meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Lloyd Horn
Tuesday evening. The lesson on “Psychology of Clothing” will be given by Mrs.
Tony Bolf and Mrs. Theodore Wessel.
The Women’s Guild will meet this
(Thursday) afternoon in Zion United Church. There will be election of officers
and “Ingathering of Thank-offering boxes” in charge of Miss Louise Keiner. Mrs.
Richard Acker will be program chairman. Hostesses will be Mrs. William Kuester
and Mrs. Lee Corey.
The Woman’s Society of Christian Service will meet
at Grace Methodist Church Friday afternoon. Mrs. Peter Korntved, Mrs. Harold
Dillenbeck and Mrs. Elery Moberg will be hostesses. The program will be in
charge of Mrs. Walter Swieso.
Cleo Maines has retuned home from the
hospital in Marshfield after surgery.
