Burghardt, Mrs. Clinton W. (Citation for Achievement - 1966)

Mrs. Clinton W. Burghardt of Merrillan has been nominated by the Black River Falls Jaycettes for the Citation for Achievement and Recognition for Outstanding Leadership award.

Mrs. Burghardt (nee Lois Feggestad) has been a home economics instructor at the Neillsville High School and the Alma Center Lincoln High School, and has taught adult classes at both Neillsville and Alma Center Lincoln High Schools. She is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, past president of the Merrillan Study Club and is the present treasurer and historian, a member of the Merrillan library board, on the citizens committee of the united District, No. 3, school building committee, a member of the Wisconsin Education Association, and of the Wisconsin Home Economics Association.

Mrs. Burghardt has been chairman of the Merrillan Heart Fund for the last three years. She also is superintendent of the Merrillan Methodist Sunday School.

She also sews, knits, golf’s, bowls, and enjoys handcrafts.

She and her husband have two daughters, Catherine and Mary.
