GEORGE
SCHMIDT SERVICES HELD FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Funeral services were conducted
Friday afternoon for George A. Schmidt, 57, town of Spencer who died Dec. 14,
the Rev. G. M. Krueger, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church of Marshfield
officiated at the 1:45 o’clock service at the Seehafer-Hansen Funeral Home and
at the 2 o’clock church services. Interment was made in Hillside cemetery at
Marshfield. Pall bearers were Henry Schmidt Jr., Elmer Schmidt, Lloyd and
Clifford Riedel, Jack Reese and Albert Rusch. Flowers were carried by Mrs. Henry
Schmidt Jr., and Mrs. Elmer Schmidt.
Among those who attended the funeral
were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schmidt Jr. of Milwaukee; Lloyd and Clifford Riedel and
Mr. and Mrs. Art Riedel of Granton; Jack Reese, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Krohn, Ed.
Schmidt, Mrs. John Reese and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rusch and daughter, Kathleen of
Wabeno; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schmidt and family of Dorchester; Mrs. Wm.
Wadzinski of Manchester and Mrs. James Pugh of Rhinelander.
