SOUTH SPENCER

John Rogers of Marshfield was a caller Monday evening at the home of his
soninlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Whipple.
Martin Engel of spencer
called on Albert Adams Tuesday afternoon.
A large number from her
attended the funeral of George Schmidt at Marshfield Friday.
A Christmas
party was given at the Sawyer school Tuesday evening, Dec. 22. Recitations,
dialogues and two plays, Miss Christmas Acquitted and A Christmas Conspiracy
were given. Those who took part were Gayle Genett, Audrey Schmidt, Louise
Whipple, Janice Dittman, Roelin Hofmann, Lois Greening, Virgil and Evelyn Moen,
Kenneth Hoff, Arlene and Beverly Greening, Richard Whipple, Raymond Karau, Carl
Rohloff, Arlene Karau, Dorothy Greening, Betty Whipple, Walter Schmidt [text

family.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Engel and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gumz attended a
Christmas party of the V.F.W. held at Marshfield Sunday afternoon and evening.
Bingo was played in the evening.
