Murphy, Minnie (11
June 1883 - 7 November 1966)
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Murphy, 83,
formerly of Neillsville, who died here November 7, were held November 9 from St.
John’s Evangelical Lutheran Churn. The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated, and
burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Murphy, who was
born in Germany, was married November 10, 2910, in Neillsville to W. L. Murphy,
who died in 1947.
“I’m But a Stranger here” and “For me To Live in Jesus”
were sung by the children of St. John’s School, accompanied by Victor Lehmann.
Pallbearers were: Guy Schultz, Paul Bartell, John Brandt, William Diercks,
Ray Kutsche and Robert Frantz.
Dr. Harold Meyer of Chicago, Ill., was
here for the funeral.
