Miss Susan Baldeschwiler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Baldeschwiler, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) became the bride of Gerald R. Osowski,
son of Raymond Osowski, Minneapolis, Minn., on Saturday, July 29th, 1961. The
Rev. Bernard Brand performed the 9:00 a.m. ceremony at Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, Minneapolis, Minn.
The bride, given in marriage by her
father, wore a gown styled with scalloped neckline trimmed in sequins and net
front with three tiers of Chantilly lace in the back. Her headpiece consisted of
a double crown of crystals and she carried a bouquet of red roses and white
stephanotis.
Miss Lila Baldeschwiler were her sisters maid of honor and
Misses Ellen and Alfretta Baldeschwiler, also sisters of the bride, were
bridesmaid, wearing white organza gowns trimmed in green embroidery with
matching green sashes and cummerbunds. They all wore rosebud headpiece with
scalloped veiling. Their bouquets of white daisies were trimmed with green
ribbon that matched their dresses.
Larry Osowski was his brother’s best
man and Joe Osowski, Minneapolis, cousin of the groom, and Jim Danielewicz,
Thorp, friend of the groom, were groomsmen.
Ushers were Eugene Oberle,
cousin of the bride, and Bill Magee, friend of the groom.
A dinner and
reception for 100 guests were held at the Falldin American Legion Post,
Minneapolis.
The bride’s mother wore a cocoa brown dress with yellow rose
corsage for her daughter’s wedding.
The bride attended Thorp High School
and has a clerical position with J.C. Pennk Co., Inc., Minneapolis. The groom
attended Little Falls, Minn. High School and is a fireman for Northern Pacific
R.R.
After a wedding trip to northern Minnesota the couple will make
their home at 749 83rd Ave. N.E., Minneapolis, Minn.
