Bonas, Mr. and Mrs. ( 1911-1960)

A surprise 49th anniversary party was given for Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bonas at their home July 10. Those who came were daughters, Mrs. Linton Jahr and husband of Mukwonago, and Mrs. Grgory Burby and husband of Milwaukee; brothers; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Janke of Freedonia, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Janke of Fredonia; sisters, Mrs. Herman Himstedt of Freedonia, and Mrs. Walter Kuse of Medford; a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Janke of Freedonia; nieces, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thill and family and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Johnson all of Freedonia; and Miss Loretta Kuse of Medford.

Grandchildren who came were Arlyn Malcom, Jerome and Natalie Jahr of Mukwonago. Friends who surprised the bonas’ from Medford were Mrs. Oscar Bukke, Mrs. Bertha Francois, Mr. and Mrs. Jens Nelson, Mrs. Grover Harper, Mrs. Reuben Hungberg, Mr. and mrs. William Hurtiemn, Mr and Mrs. John Hirt, Charles Knoll and Paul Schmoltt. Mr. and Mrs. Banas had been residents of Medford several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bymers of Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Leiske and Kristen of Loyal also attended the party. They received many nice gifts and had a very pleasant anniversary.
