Funeral services are being held this (Thursday)
afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton for August Bealer, 72, of
Rt. 1 Chili, who died Monday in Neillsville. The Rev. L. L. McCormick of Chili
will officiate. Burial will be made in Yolo Cemetery, Town of Fremont.
August Bealer was born March 12, 1894, in the Town of Fremont, where he lived
and farmed his entire lifetime. On August 31, 1923, he was married to the former
Clara Bartz in the Lutheran parsonage in Nasonville.
He is survived by
his wife; a son, Wilbur, of Elgin, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer (June)
risen of Eau Claire, Mrs. Lowell (Fern) Frankwick of Stratford and Mrs. Robert
(Marlene) Oestreich of Neillsville. Also surviving are three brothers: Herman of
Campbell, Cal., Albert of Marshfield, Minn., and Fred of Coeur d’Alene, Id., and
by 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Harold Brandt, Wayne Connors,
Walter Elmhorst, Otto Rusch, John Barth and Norbert Kleinschmidt.
Hymns
will be sung by Mrs. Van Kayser and Mrs. William Schmidtke, who will be
accompanied by Mrs. Leland Garbisch.
