Bartsch, Elmer (8 JAN 1917 - 1 MAY 1917)
Elmer Bartsch,
one of twin babies born to Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bartsch Jan. 8th, 1917, died
Tuesday, May 1st, 1917, after a short illness with pneumonia. The little one was
always frail, and when pneumonia developed, his life was despaired of. This is
the sixth child these parents have lost in the death of this little one, they
are left childless.
The sympathy of the entire community goes out to
these sorrowing ones in their affliction. The funeral was held from the home at
1 o’clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. M. Hasz of the Maple Works German Lutheran
Church officiating. The pallbearers were Louis Helm, Arnold Sternitzky, Charlie
Schlinsog and Willie Marg. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
