A basket social was held at the
Lutheran Schoolhouse Wednesday evening, at which $18.50 was taken in. Lights
will be purchased for the schoolhouse for the benefit of the Young People’s
Society.
Mr. Destinon returned to her home from Milwaukee on Friday.
D.G. Wallace has been on the sick list. A buttermaker from Neillsville had
charge of the factory on Sunday.
Mrs. Alvin Foster and little son
returned to her home at Colby last week after a month’s visit with her father,
Fred Steinberg.
A party was held at the Albert Lueck home Sunday in honor
of Willie’s 19th birthday.
Mrs. Art Leininger and children left Tuesday
of last week for Oshkosh to join her husband.
Albert Steinberg has gone
to Hopkins, Minn., to work.
Mrs. G. Mallig returned Thursday from a few
days visit with her daughter near Granton.
Wm. Glasow Sr. and Hugo Kaluer
and their wives attended the funeral of August Storm at Marshfield last week
Thursday.
Leo Grap and family returned to their home at Wausau Monday,
after a week’s visit with relatives.
Mrs. Bertha Schoenwetter was
suddenly taken sick Saturday afternoon.
