Mrs. Lue Smith, who has been
quite ill for several weeks, is reported somewhat better this week.
Mr.
and Mrs. Grant Johnson are nicely settled in their new home since last week.
Dr. Rath performed a minor operation on the little son of Mr. Yordi last
week. The little fellow is recovering nicely.
Wm. Stewart has moved his
family in Ernest Yankee’s tenant house and will occupy it this summer.
Hugh Converse bought a house of Mr. Rose last week.
Owing to the bad
weather there was not a very large crowd at the school social Saturday evening.
Everyone had a good time and the proceeds were about nine dollars, which was
pretty good considering the rain.
Miss Elsie Johnson came home for an
over Sunday visit and returned to her school at Witte Monday.
Mr. and
Mrs. Ara Lee and son Claire were Chili visitors Monday.
Mrs. Francis
McHone, accompanied by by Dora Johnson, visited relatives at Lindsey Sunday.
Gilbert Sternitzky and Frieda Williams were Sunday guests at Howard Erwin’s.
