Mr. and Mrs. Waite Wilcox returned from Marengo, Ill.
after a short visit. They say Wisconsin looks good to them.
Mrs. R. Sweet
is able to sit up and do some work after being confined to her bed for nearly a
year. The other mother when her daughter Jessie Angel went to the barn their cow
laid dead.
Felix Schafer left last week for Eau Claire to be a Raleigh
agent.
Mrs. Fred Russell of Port Washington visited old friends from
Friday until Wednesday.
E.A. Webster postponed his sale until May 10th on
account of bad weather.
Mrs. Nettie Hungerford was visiting at Kate
Davis’ last week.
The Nasonville Ladies Aid will meet May 16th for dinner
at the Manse. Everybody please bring something to eat, also plate, cup, knife or
fork. Everybody is invited to come as a lot of business is on hand. Men’s Aid is
to be held also, as the fence is down and adjoining land is to be pastured this
summer.
Chas. Gross bought Mr. Batesel’s place and will move right in.
Mr. and Mrs. Ara Lee and son were out this way Monday.
