Resong, Johanna (10 NOV 1914)
At 9 o’clock Tuesday morning Father Weber united in marriage Mr. Marcus
Hoesly and Miss Johanna Resong, the ceremony taking place at St. Mary’s Church.
The bride and groom were attended by Marx Haas and Miss Anna Resong. The bride
wore a wedding gown of white silk poplin and the bridesmaid wore white voile.
Mr. and Mrs. Hoesly left on the noon train for a brief wedding trip to Madison
and Milwaukee and upon their return here will take up housekeeping on the Hoesly
farm northeast of the city.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Hoesly
and is a young man of many sterling qualities and ability in his chosen vocation
of farming. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Resong and is a capable
and pleasant young lady. She has held a responsible position in the overall
factory for several years and is held in high esteem by all who know her. The
Times extends its cordial congratulations to the young couple.
