Tioga (19 NOV 1914)
Mrs. A. Loy returned to Greenwood after a week’s
visit at Tioga.
Mrs. C.J. Bigelow returned to her home at Tioga Saturday
after being with P. Loy at Neillsville, who is failing fast.
G.H. Palms
and family took dinner with Jess Palms Sunday.
A snow storm visited here
last Thursday and made the deer hunters smile for a short time.
Warren
Brown bade his Tioga friends goodbye Thursday morning. He will visit relatives
in Minnesota before he goes to his home in Waterloo, Iowa.
Mr. and Mrs.
Sanders are visiting at the August Halbrader home.
Oscar Kuenkle, Oscar
Christopherson, Johnnie Poppe, Frank Thoma and Ewald Worchel captured four deer
last week.
John Swanson and workmen are working hard to finish his
bungalow before cold weather sets in.
Mr. Hewett of Neillsville was a
business caller here Wednesday. He drove down in his auto.
Last week we
stated that George Bedell and brother, Jim, visited in Tioga the last of the
week. He failed to come, but is here at the present writing. He will work for
George Halbrader this winter.
