The winter weather we have been enjoying (?) is more moderate
at this writing.
Mr. and Mrs. John Dahl, who were called to Clintonville
two weeks ago by the death of Mrs. Dahl’s mother, are home again.
Guenther Edens is visiting at Plymouth and Sheboygan.
Mrs. Wm. Rowe spent
Sunday afternoon with her daughter, who is on the sick list with pleurisy.
Mrs. Estella Mortimer entertained her Sunday School class at her home last
Saturday night.
Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Snyder drove up from the county seat to
their farm and back Sunday afternoon.
Will Rowe, Abie Turner and Melvin
Lawrence are finishing the interior of W.J. Davis house.
John Lockner is
visiting his parents at Black River Falls since Saturday.
Henry Subke,
Frank Lueck, Frank Greeler and son, Edward, were down near Hatfield Sunday on a
deer hunt.
Victor Krejci was one of the successful hunters this fall.
George Mortimer of Chilton visited relatives at this place last week.
John Vande Berg sawed wood Saturday for his son, Alvin.
John Lastofka
and wife motored to the city last Saturday afternoon.
Next Thursday is
Thanksgiving Day and what a lot of things we have to be thankful for.
Mrs. A.P. Fulwiler is sick with bronchitis and pleurisy in her left side. She
went to consult Dr. Ross.
Work on Vet Pease’s new barn did not progress
very much the past week on account of the weather being so wintry.
Walter
Bros. of Heintown baled hay last week for Dan Timerson and Keith Parrett.
Ed Voigt, who has been nursing a sore arm the past two weeks, is somewhat
improving.
